Other than that it's been quiet around here. Just lots of work & beadmaking! I do have a little challenge next week as I have about 1/2 a rod of white glass left and it's on backorder from the company I order from. Soooo, if you have any cool color combos that DON"T include white, let me know! I have some new ideas in my head I'll be trying out too!

Happy 4th of July! I hope you all have a lot of fun things in store! I have to work this afternoon, then come home & pack! We're leaving for the Outer Banks in the morning for a few days & I'm so excited!

Good Morning!
We've had quite a week here. We lost Isis last week which as you know was totally heartbreaking for me. She was such a great dog and she'll be forever missed around here.
I had PLANNED on not having another dog for a while...however my husband & daughter had another idea. I was surprised on Thursday with a new puppy. He is sooo cute. He is a great dane and is 8 weeks old. He's already almost 25 pounds. I am still a little bit nervous about a new dog so quickly while my heart is still hurting, but I'm going to make the best of it! Oh...his name is Einstein!
I just added a bunch of new bead specials to the website. I again stuck with the smaller sets, they seem to be popular. I hope you'll take a look!

So sorry that almost a whole month has gone by since my last update! There is not a lot going on around here except for one bit of bad news...Our 5 year old Great Dane, Isis, was diagnosed with cancer this week. So I've been spending as much time as I can loving her while I still can! If you are waiting on a custom order please be patient...I'm going to try to work on them tonight & tomorrow morning. Those of you that have known me a while probably remember when I brought Isis home at 6 weeks old and 10lbs. She grew into a 100 lb baby! Please keep us in your thoughts as this is a terribly hard time for me. (Isis is my Shadow, and follows me everywhere!)
Now onto happier subjects...BEADS! I have a ton of new bead sets to add to the site tonight! This is my beadmakers version of "short-attention span theater". All of the sets tonight are smaller than my usual sets (not size, just quantity). I thought maybe that way you wouldn't be stuck with a bunch of leftover beads after making a jewelry piece. Plus by doing that I am able to keep the price down, and help keep your costs down too!
And speaking of leftovers...there are 5 grab bags, each with 25 beads and 3 spacer grab bags too.
Finally, since I wanted to do something to honor my Isis and all the other wonderful Great Danes out there, for all sales off of the "Jewelry Specials" and "Cell Phone Charms" section I'll be donating 20% to the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue. It's a wonderful organization that has been there for us through this hard time with advise and encouragement. Although I don't have a lot to give, I want to do something to thank them!!

Where has the time gone? I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get another update done, and it's a small one!! We are having some staffing issues at the store and I've been working ALOT! So I haven't had as much time for beads as I would like. Hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks I'll be back to normal!! In the meantime, if you need a bead order please email me! I'm still taking orders & trying to get them done within a few days!
I have just added 9 new beads sets in great colors for summer, along with some yummy ice cream cones! I hope you'll take a look! I also marked the bright buttons & ocean waves sets at a final sale price!
On a personal note, next Saturday is my Tae Kwon Do black belt test!! It's going to be a tough test (usually about 5 hours or so), but I *think* I'm ready! Wish me luck!!

Happy Saturday Morning! There is a LOT going on around here lately! I have a new job! My husband has taken over operating the Family Fare on University Parkway so I have been working part time there during the week. It's actually pretty fun and time goes by fast. I've learned how to do the order, scan in vendors when they come in, run the register and how to run the Lottery Machine!! That in combination with training for my black belt test in April is taking up a lot of time. But I still have some great new beads!!
I am listing new bead specials today, there are some regular sized sets as well as something new I am trying out...mini sets. The beads are the regular size, just in smaller amounts than my normal sets. So if you want just enough for a certain project, or need just a few more to add to beads you already have, then these might be for you! I also have a couple of grab bags available!!
I marked a bunch of sets on sale. I was going to remove all the older sets today and use them for some jewelry for spring shows, but I don't think I'll have time for the shows. So...these sets must go! I've marked some down to only $20!! They won't last long though!!
Hope you have a great weekend! I'm hoping tomorrow the weather will be OK and we can go out to visit the retired racing greyhounds for a bit! I love to go see them even though it makes me want another dog so bad!!
